For students over 18, our self-catering student accommodation provides both independence and a supportive environment.
Homestay
At Knowledge First, our dedicated accommodations team ensures students receive the best local homestay experience through our specialised program. Living with a homestay family provides a unique opportunity to improve language skills, connect with the community, and gain confidence in a supportive environment.
We offer homestay locations across Newcastle and the surrounding area, ensuring that students can experience both the city-centre attractions and the quieter pace of suburban life. All of our homestay families are able to cater to different dietary requirements, ensuring students enjoy meals that suit their needs.
Half-board
Students stay with a host family and receive breakfast and dinner each day. Mealtimes provide a great chance to practice English in a relaxed setting and learn more about local culture. With half board, students can explore local cafés and restaurants for lunch or bring their own food while out and about.
Self-catering
Students live with a host family while managing their own meals, giving flexibility to choose food and cooking times. Host families provide access to kitchen facilities, and students can agree on the best times to use them. Self-catering Homestay is a great chance to explore local shops, try new recipes, and share meals for a cultural exchange.
Student Accommodation
Student accommodation is available upon request and only to students who are over 18 years old. Student Accommodation is offered on a self-catering basis providing a great opportunity to explore local markets, try new recipes, and share meals with new friends in a cultural exchange.
